This is a genuine manufacturer-sourced component which is specially made for use with Toro lawn mowers. It provides an identical replacement for a missing or a faulty hardware that was installed on a new unit. The bracket helps to secures the cover, which is sold separately - frequently purchased with Torsion Spring (99-5293) & Rod-Cover (136-8672).
